These are my standard HDPE magazine molds. Custom options are available at an additional cost. Email for quote.
Single Taco style magazine carrier with FOMI blocking and .25" gap for adjustable retention built in.
Each mold is designed to make the manufacturing process simple and fast. These are designed to be used with membraneless vacuum forming, but can also work with a membrane former.
*The idea behind the design is that once the shell is pressed there will be an outline for you to follow with your bandsaw.
*This will allow you to trim the shell just slightly oversized with no need for tracing or measuring.
*Once you have trimmed on the bandsaw, take the shell to the drill and you will drill out all the indicator holes that are premarked in the shell.
*You will then attach the shell to the router trim jig with a standard .375" or .5" 8-32 screw ( same screws most people use on holsters).
*Run your router jig along the bearing on your router bit.
*After that it's just a matter of folding, buffing and assembly.
The molds are available as:
Singles: Makes one carrier per press $60.00
Doubles: Makes two carriers per press $120.00
Router trim jig: add $70.00
The double stack mold is designed to fit Glock and M&P mags, however it will also fit quite a few other double stack magazines as well.
The shield/Xds magazine molds were designed for shield and you will have a .25" gap for adjustable retention. However it will also fit the XDs magazine as well, but when folding the carrier you will need to fold the carrier over an XDs magazine, which will result in a smaller gap for adjustable retention meaning you will need a smaller spacer.
2-3 week lead time.
